Workshop Costs and Payment Schedule
Costs listed (see below) do not include airfare, travel, and shuttle service from the airport and to the Conference Center. Shuttle service is provided from the Kalamazoo Regional Airport on an individual basis. Please call us if you require shuttle service, and we will assist you.

A deposit of $200 is needed to reserve a space. Please follow payment schedule outlined in the flyer and repeated below. You can make more complete payments at any time before the final payment is due. Thank you, Kate and Stephanie , SPIRIT WEAVERS

Please note: Shamanic Circles, the nonprofit with which all of those teaching Bear Medicine are affiliated, would like to help defray the costs of international travel, when needed, for individuals who otherwise could not afford travel costs. In previous years, Shamanic Circles has contributed to the travel costs for some women attending these workshops. The ability to do this is based on the generosity of those able to make donations to Shamanic Circles.

In addition, Shamanic Circles supports and accepts specific donations to Carol Proudfoot-Edgar’s teaching of “Women, Shamanism, and Bear Medicine.” These tax-deductible donations are used to help keep the general cost of these workshops affordable and to support the learning by other women of teaching this work in their homelands. As this work evolves, the vision is held that we will have the resources to assist others in learning to teach Women’s Ways of Doing Shamanism (one subtitle for BearMedicine) but such costs will not be added to the fees of these workshops. The ability to work with women interested in teaching and to assist women around the world in learning the ‘art of teaching’ is largely dependent on raising funds towards this purpose. Already these workshops have continued to help create a shamanic network of women across the world leading Circles and sharing this medicine with others. My vision is to expand this program and provide more support towards this effort. This means finding ways to raise funds for this purpose and Shamanic Circles has agreed to support such a fund under its nonprofit status.

If you wish to contribute in any of these areas, your donation is truly appreciated and wisely used. For example, having payment by credit card as an option is one way in which Shamanic Circles is supporting these workshops/retreats. For some women, this makes it more possible to participate.
